Hello beautiful people,
Wow, what a busy time I have been having pushing myself through my zone of comfort!
Would you believe Iāve already met with an editor, (which depending on how you sit, was either a sheer case of coincidence or a pure moment of synchronicity ā as you may have already guessed Iām definitely pro synchronicity), whom gave me some great advice on what steps to take next in having my manuscript published and some other wonderful ideas too to throw into the mix that I am excitedly exploring.Ā In fact cogs are clicking away madly!
So what else have I been doing beyond the zone?Ā Hmm, let me think, oh thatās right Andrew and I became members of the {ALSO} Foundation which in a nutshell aims to create and celebrate a diverse, strong, safe and inclusive gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (GLBTIQ) community that contributes to and is respected by broader communities.Ā How cool is that?Ā You can check them out here at http://www.also.org.au/.
In realising that playing small no longer serves me or anyone else for that matter, it gave me just what I was looking for to get myself out there and start contributing and interacting with a broader diverse community other than the comfort and safety of my own back yard!Ā Itās time to really up the ante and walk my talk.Ā Not just dip my toes in here and there (like a blog or a television appearance), dive right in and fully submerge my total being, hence joining the {ALSO} Foundation.Ā One small step for me one giant leap for mankind!Ā Wish you could see the grin!
With all that in mind, as it is now major crunch time in the life of me, myself and I, no stone is to be left unturned whilst pushing myself through as many comfort zones (oh boy, thatās plural…..does that mean we have more than one?) as I possibly can, I canāt ignore that exercising is one of them (umm……yes it appears we do have more than one comfort zone!).Ā No more fly by night regimes, no more hap hazard attempts, no more excuses, no more joining a gym only to discover that gym (Jim) and I have never got along!Ā To continue on my journey of difference making I have to be in the best possible condition I can be on all levels, thatās physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.Ā Wouldnāt you agree?Ā Thatās if you are still out there! Ā Are you still out there?
Over the years thereās been a lot of interest in regards to ājust do itā – thatās all rather nice; however Iām taking the stance of ājust did itā and so far so good!Ā Iāve had 5 sessions (thatās 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 yay) at Step into Life and wow, I mean wow! Ā I already feel lighter and not just physically either, I feel more aligned with who I am, clearer, stronger, and healthier……the list goes on and on.Ā Whoād have thought I could jog so far, I certainly didnāt!
What surprised me the most though was how wonderful it felt to keep pushing and pushing thinking surely I was going to break (literally!) and then all of a sudden reaching that place of ājust did itā!Ā With class over I took my weary self off for an Epsom salt bath and was in awe of how fabulous I felt, with my body clearly letting me know that yes, I was indeed alive!
Whatās also great at these sessions is not only do I have a brilliant trainer, I quickly became a part of a community as well, all working towards achieving a common goal ā better health and wellbeing.Ā If youād like to see what it is that Iām on about you can Step into Life here at http://www.stepintolife.com.au/.
Iāve found since getting myself up off the couch and making the commitment to do whatever it takes to get back into my growth zone, how exhilaratingly wonderful it is and how life has become more peaceful, connected and flowing (with synchronicity too!).
What will you do today to enter the growth zone?Ā (cue theme music to Twilight Zone – just because I can!)
Love & hugs,
Lyndal
āpractice what you passionāĀ®
